Q.POOL v BYE

No shock results at all tonight in the Larne & District Pool League as all the favourites won with a bit to spare. With just two rearranged fixtures to be played no matter what happens Pigeon Club will go into 2018 as League Leaders after an 11-4 success at home to Blues. Gers are in second spot after a 10-5 win over Rubys Stars in the Q. Club and indeed if they win their game in hand against St Comgalls they will trail Pigeon by only a single point, a great season so far for Stuart Houston's Rangers Club team. Ibrox won 10-5 away to Thatch Rockets to stay in third, three points off Bryan McWhirters League leaders whilst Q.Pool had a bye tonight but stay in fourth four points off the pace. Neil McFaul's Q.Club turned it on in the Station Bar romping home 13-2 on the night to consolidate fifth spot whilst Hugo Manson's Feathers are five points clear in sixth after a more than comfortable 12-3 win away to Freewheelers. Lastly but not least Paul Smyth's St Comgalls leapfrog Station Bar after taking the honours in the derby match against Clonlee courtesy of a 10-5 result.

** Feathers subsequently awarded a 15-0 win as Freewheelers finished the match with only 3 players
