It's very well done to local lads Ryan Marcus, 14 and Aaron Rolston, 16. The duo have just come back from Malta as Nations Cup Under 18 Champions. They were part of the Northern Ireland Under 18 Team that won the European Blackball Association Nations Cup of Pool trophy. Managed by Q.Club proprietor Alex Irvine they joined forces with Ciaran Taggart (Omagh), Galvin McDermott (Omagh), Oisin Wallace (Omagh) and Adam Freeburn (Limavady) to lift the Title.
After safely negotiating their way out of the group the lads met England in the Semi Final where in a nailbiting deciding frame Northern Ireland made it through by 13-12. Lying in wait in the Final were Group Winners Wales but the lads weren't going to be denied and in another very exciting match they won 13-10 to become Champions.
Aaron also lifted gold in the Under 18 Doubles Event with partner Adam Freeburn and Ryan reached the Final of the Under 15 Individual.
It's definitely a case of hard work paying off, Aaron and Ryan spent many hours on the green baize perfecting their skills in the Q.Club and beyond leading up to the event.
