The battle for League Runners Up is going down to the final fixture where only a win for Saints against No 1 Club will suffice. Both teams won tonight in the League's penultimate fixture. No 1 Club were never behind and eventually edged it 9-6 against newly crowned Champions The Thatch. Saints thrashed Station Bar 12-3 with session scores of 4-1, 4-1 & 4-1. Ibrox won 11-4 away to No 1 Reds, session scores were 4-1, 2-3 & 5-0 in favour of the Rangers Club team. The highlight of the match was a fantastic break and dish from Reds Glen McLoughlin. St Comgalls condemned Larne FSC to the League Wooden Spoon courtesy of a 9-6 home win, Malachy Reynolds winning the all important 15th frame. Feathers ousted the No 1 Blues by a 9-6 scoreline in the Pigeon Club whilst Dhu had a very convincing 13-2 win over Thatch Rockets. Gers stay 4th after an untroubled 12-3 win over Highfliers.
