Station Bar - Bye
Thatch Bar consolidated their position at the top of the table with a solid away win at Feathers, they led 6-4 going into the last session but moved up a gear to run out 10-5 winners. Thatch now only require 2 more points to wrap up the League and Manager Bryan McWhirter will hope to seal the deal next week at home to Station Bar. No 1 Club remain in second spot after beating Dhu 12-3, session scores were 3-2, 5-0 and 4-1. Barney Hylands bagged another hat trick giving him 23 wins from his last 24 frames played. Saints travelled to Gers and came away with both points courtesy off a comfortable 10-5 result, a win that keeps them in 3rd position. Session scores of 4-1, 2-3 and 4-1 gave Ibrox both points away to Thatch Rockets, Robert Hawkins notched a hat trick for the visitors. No 1 Blues move up to 9th in the table after winning 9-7 against Highfliers. Tyler McKee won the all important 16th frame without hitting a ball, his opponent unfortunate to go in off the black going for a clearance. Its been 25 games in coming for Larne FSC but their first win was worth waiting for as they destroyed LIPS in the Football Club derby match. But even a big 12-3 win isn't enough to lift them off the bottom off the table. No 1 Reds edged a 9-7 win at St Comgalls but it took the match to go to the play off frame frame where hero of the hour was Glenn McLaughlin. Session scores were 3-2, 3-2, 2-3, 1-0 in favour of the Reds. McLaughlin had an impressive 4/4 with Charlie Spence best for the hosts on 2/3.
