Larne Pool League had mixed fortunes at the annual NIPA Interleague Event held this year in the Queens Hall, Newtownards. The 'A' Team under the captaincy of Thatch cueist Ellis Martin lost both group matches 13-17 to Ballyclare and 14-17 to Carrick. A win 12-3 win over Ballyclare in the Semi Finals seen them make the final of the Plate Event where they lost out 9-12 to Clogher Valley.
The B1s captained by Bryan McWhirter done very well in winning their group with a 17-5 victory over Ballyclare and a 17-14 win over holders North Down & Ards B2. They were drawn against North Down & Ards B2s again in the Semi Final but unfortunately got off to a bad start eventually losing 9-17
The fledgling B2 Team run by Scott Hutchinson and Alec Irvine excelled themselves. They only lost out in qualifying for the Semi Finals of the main event by a single frame on frame difference. They defeated NI Ladies 17-6 and lost only 12-17 to eventual winners Carrick B1. In the Plate Semis they won 12-3 against Ballymena B1 but lost out in the Final to North Down & Ards B1 by 8-17
